Symptom
When you visit your website, the web server delivers the PHP source instead of executing it. The files are named correctly, they are ending on .php. You also do not use short-open tags (
Cause
There is a wrong PHP handler entry in your .htaccess file, similar to
SetHandler x-httpd-php5.6
Solution
Remove the PHP handler from the .htaccess file. It is not needed. The PHP version to use is controlled only with the PHP icon in the web space control panel.
