Symptom
You have added a domain to your web space account by clicking the “Add domain” button in your control panel. This has created the domain on the host, but the domain remains inaccessible on the Internet even after waiting a long while.
Cause
By clicking the “Add domain” button you tell the web server that it shall respond to incoming requests of the domain name. You do not register a domain at a NIC by it. Some customers have domains with competitors that are routed to their Bitpalace web space. For that reason you can use the “Add domain” button to tell the server to respond to a certain domain name while that domain name is not registered with us.
Solution
To register a domain name, please use the order page on one of our websites. If you do not want to add web space, but want to add a domain name only, remove the checkmark from the web space position of the order.
