Symptom

You are trying to connect to https://.bitpalast.net:8443, but the connection fails.

Cause

The connection can fail for two reasons:

a) The IP address of your internet access has been blocked by the host as too many false login attempts to a mailbox, a website or the web space control panel came from that IP. You can tell, if that is the case, when not only the connection to the control panel fails, but the connection to your homepage fails, too, with the same error message.

b) Port 8443 is blocked in your router or network.

Solution

Make sure that port 8443 is open in your router and network. This port is the Plesk default port and in use by millions of domains globally to control their web space. Port 8443 is no security risk for your network and can remain open at all times.

If your IP address was blocked because of many fals login attempts, simply disconnect your DLS router for a few seconds from the Internet, reconnect it and get a new IP address from your Internet access provider automatically after reconnecting.
